1. Data Collection, Use, and Sharing

1.1. Automatically collect data

Like many other websites, IP address and browser characteristics are collected automatically when you visit PickerWheel.com. PickerWheel.com also uses Google Analytics, Google Analytics will identify in terms of whether you are a first-time or repeat visitor, the length of your visit, and others. 1.2. Data you may choose to supply

Every time you insert the input into the list, we will receive the data. If you submit the feedback form, we will also receive all the data you have entered from that form.

1.3. How your data is used

First, the inputs are used to construct the app system. It means that we will draw the wheel with the inputs you inserted so that you can spin and pick one of them.

Second, the inputs data are stored in the local storage of the user's browser, so that the data are still available when the next time the user revisits the website.

Third, we also use the data to improve the service by measuring user behavior on the Picker Wheel app. Most of these measurements are done in aggregate across many users, as allowed by Google Analytics.

Fourth, if you submit an email address in the feedback form, we may use that email address to get back to you if we have follow-up questions on your feedback or provide you an update about the Picker Wheel.

1.4. How your data is safeguarded

Your data is stored securely in Google Analytics, Google Spreadsheets in one of the Gmail account. For details on how data is managed in those products by Google, see Google's privacy policy. Your data is not shared, rented or sold to any other third parties.

2. Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the web app, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as email address), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar of your browser when accessing PickerWheel.com

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only the owner of Picker Wheel has access to personally identifiable information. The computers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure Google data center

3. Advertising Privacy Statement

This Site is affiliated with AdThrive, LLC (“AdThrive”) for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site. AdThrive uses standard and widely-available tools for the placement and serving of ads, including those provided by Google, Inc. and its affiliates. We publish interest-based advertisements on the Site; that is, ads that are tailored to reflect your interests. To help understand your interests, AdThrive, Google and our other advertising partners will track your behaviour on our website and on other websites across the Internet using cookies.
